Dixon Celebrates the Class of 2026 at 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
Dixon proudly celebrated its 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, recognizing the accomplishments and growth of the Class of 2026 as they prepare to begin their high school journey.
The ceremony was hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies, School Counselor Ms. Mitchell, who welcomed families, staff, and students for this special occasion. Principal Pitts and Assistant Principal Smith shared inspiring words of encouragement and congratulations, reminding students to continue striving for excellence in the years ahead.
Several staff members also addressed the graduates, including Ms. Price, ELA teacher; Ms. Morrison, coach; and Mr. Hall, social worker. Each speaker reflected on the students' achievements, character, and potential, offering heartfelt advice as they move on to the next chapter of their education.
The promotion ceremony was a memorable celebration of hard work, perseverance, and success. The Dixon community is proud of its graduates and looks forward to all they will accomplish in the future.
